Anyone familiar with the browser plugin Q3PX? It provides information about the server such as connected players, current map, and an image of the map.

It is the map images I'm interested in. The Q3PX site hosted for download small thumbs for most of the Quake-based maps but it appears their server is no more. Anyone know where I can get these images?

Sadly dude it no longer is out there. IE dont support it since like 2000 or 2001. it was made by id software for the purpose of seeing quake server info around the time int came to internet gaming. You use the www.quakeservers.net to get info. You can also go to http://www.gameaholic.com or get the qlaunch program i posted in the other thread. its better then gamespy casue you pick what servers you want to see.

Those files seem to be available at archive.org but when I dowload they are always one byte short. Tried with wget and FireFox. Have to try some program that can fix zips.

Yes, I ran into the same issue. So close! Post again if you find something that fixes the file. I'll be looking as well.

well, I finally gave up and simply grabbed my own screen shots using Fraps. Tedious, but they turned out okay.
