I used to be able to change the deafult messages displayed in game, and I believe the messages are stored in qwprogs.dat. What program do I need to be able to change it? I was able to open the file in EditPlus, but it didn't display correctly.

In MVDSV the messages are defined at sv_mod_frags.h. Just edit the file and then compile MVDSV. If you want to edit KTX's messages the right file is client.c.
